St. John's Cathedral - Central Denver

If you have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and would like to connect with other women, share support and gain valuable information, please come. Caregivers are also welcome.

Nicki's Circle Central meets on the first Monday of every month from 11:30 am to 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Cathedral in central Denver, Room 101. Please feel free to bring a snack, questions, and your hopes and fears. The group offers a safe and supportive atmosphere for gaining information, expressing your concerns, sharing emotions and broadening your perspective.

There is a short body-mind meditation with the zither harp before the group starts, from 11:15-11:30 a.m., if you would like to come early for that. Please come on in and join us whenever you arrive.

This group is sponsored by the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA) with free space generously provided by St. John's Cathedral, and is facilitated by Susan Hess, MA, LPC, MT-BC, licensed professional counselor. There is no charge.

Directions to St. John's Cathedral

Map to St. John's Cathedral: 1350 Washington St., Denver, CO, 80203

St. John's is located in central Denver near Colfax Ave. and Washington streets. Take I-25 to Colfax Ave. and exit going east. Take Colfax east  to Washington St. (about 7 blocks east of Broadway) and turn south, go 2 blocks and you will see the big gray stone cathedral on the left. There is a parking lot in the middle of the block at 1350 Washington St., and if there is space you can park there. You will go into the Welcome Center, the glass doors facing west, 1350 Washington. The meeting is in Room 101, down the hall on the left. I will have signs up and there should be someone at the front desk.

If there is no parking space available, it is okay to park in the Handicapped spaces. There is also another large parking lot for St. John's Cathedral in the block between 14th and Colfax. There are entrances with signs mid-block on Clarkson going north and Washington going south. The lot is located right behind Argonaut Liquors on Colfax. There is a walkway heading south toward the front of the Cathedral. Go along the west side of the church to the Welcome Center.
