colorado ovarian cancer alliance
Our mission at COCA is to support women in Colorado dealing with ovarian cancer, and promote increased awareness about ovarian cancer through advocacy and education. COCA is a partner member of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA). Our goals are:
1) To ADVOCATE for women with ovarian cancer, and for ovarian cancer awareness through participation in activities at the local, state and national levels. 2) To EDUCATE women, families, doctors and healthcare providers about early detection of ovarian cancer through our Survivors Teaching Students™ and COCA Speakers Bureau programs. 3) To SUPPORT survivors through offering regular Nicki's Circle Ovarian Cancer Support Groups.
