community outreach - COCA Speaker's bureau

Helping to save women's lives

Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA) is dedicated to educating the public about the early symptoms of ovarian cancer in order to help save women's lives. Through our COCA Speaker's Bureau, three survivors, who are trained volunteers, relate the events each has experienced with their ovarian cancer diagnosis. While each story is different, together they provide an overview of this disease.

Our speakers will address the particular needs of your audience, and we can tailor the program to emphasize symptoms as well as screening tools, risk factors, support, survivorship and advocacy. We do not offer medical advice or referrals.

This program is available to your organization and can benefit women and men alike by increasing awareness about ovarian cancer.

If you are interested in having our team of ovarian cancer survivors speak to your organization, please call 1-800-428-0642 or email info@colo-ovariancancer.org.
